The company began operations in Mavrovouni, Skydra, laying the foundations for a leading position in the European canned fruit market. The facilities now cover 300,000 sq.m., with 100,000 sq.m. housing state-of-the-art equipment. Maintaining exemplary infrastructure and a strong export presence to this day, the company serves more than 85 countries.

KRONOS incorporates the use of peach pits and pellets as biomass fuel, with a capacity of 26,000 kg/h steam, covering a significant portion of the factory’s energy needs and strengthening the circular economy model.
Installation of a complete aseptic fruit cube line and acquisition of an atmospheric pasteurizer, marking a key milestone in production modernization, aiming at maximizing fruit utilization through automated machinery.
New packaging facilities of 3,000 sq.m. and refrigerated warehouses of 5,400 sq.m with racking capacity for 5,000 pallets, significantly enhancing operational flexibility and ensuring optimal conditions for the handling and preservation of products, from production to market distribution.
The mechanical equipment was upgraded with modern, more efficient machinery, enhancing production capacity. At the same time, all production areas were air-conditioned, ensuring improved and more stable working conditions.
Installation of an automated line for plastic cup packaging, featuring a sleeve application system, labeling system, metal detectors, and carton sealing equipment.
Refrigeration units with a total area of 3,500+ sq.m. offering product storage and cooling capacity, paving the way for a tripling of capacity by 2024, reaching a total area of 10,000 sq.m.

2024: 3,000 sq.m. in Marina Imathias.
Installation of the first CNG boiler producing steam through natural gas, with a capacity of 16,000 kg/h of steam, enhancing sustainability and energy efficiency. Installation of a second boiler of the same capacity (16,000 kg/h), further strengthening steam production capacity and operational reliability. Installation of next-generation steam peelers with direct supply from the new natural-gas steam production units, eliminating the use of soda, reducing the environmental footprint, and ensuring smoother operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
